If your SAMSUNG GALAXY DEVICE is running on official Android firmware, then you can easily boot into Download Mode like this:
- 1-: Power off the phone completely by removing its battery for 5 seconds.
- 2-: Re-insert the battery back into its place.
- 3-: Press and hold Volume Down, Home and Power buttons, all at the same time.
- 4-: Release the buttons only when the ‘Warning!!’ message appears.
- 5-: Next, press Volume Up button to confirm that you wish to enter Download Mode.
- 6-: Your device will now show a green Android with the ‘Downloading… Do not turn off target’ text listed under it.
- That’s it, now you can connect your device with your PC after you launch ODIN.
- ODIN→DOWNLOAD
- CWM RECOVERY for Samsung Galaxy devices → DOWNLOAD
After download all stuffs for your mobile,
Launch ODIN In your PC/LAPTOP
→Connect your device through Data Cable to your PC
→ID:COM in Odin detects and "Added" msg appears in the msg box
→ Select PDA in Odin.
→ Now go to CWM recovey file which you have downloaded from the above link and select it.
→Now click "START" to proceed.
If CWM Recovey is successfully installed in your device, The Box turns Green and displays "PASS" in ID:COM box.
